My husband and I ended up going here late one evening when most other places were closed. Luckily the open sign was still lit; we went in and were seated in the lounge area since the actual restaurant portion was shutting down. The food was simply outstanding; we were both shocked to find that they actually make most items on the menu from scratch. I had ordered chicken alfredo, the alfredo sauce was simply the best I have ever had. I also had a salad with the Gorgonzola dressing, which was amazing. The gentleman that served us was very nice and the atmosphere is pretty good if you’re looking for something romantic.

Italian Riviera's (anonymous)
The mother of one of the owners greeted us warmly and showed us to our table. It didn't look very crowded (we were there at 5:30) but it filled up with people quickly. For an appetizer, we split roasted garlic, which was at least 50 cloves of garlic. It was accompanied by a huge scoop of goat cheese (more than we had ever seen), sun-dried tomatoes in a paste that tasted like a fine pizza sauce, and fresh Tuscan-style Italian bread. It was delicious, and we asked for more bread to enjoy as much of it as possible. Keith had a salad with gorgonzola cheese dressing. Lori was loving he option of chowder instead of salad offered in the Pacific Northwest, and had the Italian Riviera's version of clam chowder. Lori had the manicotti stuffed with ricotta cheese, with cream sauce and topped with mozzarella cheese and baked. Keith had the veal canelloni. The pasta was made fresh every morning and just melted in our mouths - it was wonderful. We ordered a bottle of local pinot blanc. We stopped into the piano bar, where Ric the owner was playing and singing. There were a lot of locals drinking, dancing, and enjoying themselves.

A great change up from all of the seafood (though you'll find that here as well). Have eaten here more than 6 times in 4 years. Consistent quality. Free pour bar. Food is fresh and plentiful. Not overpriced. The last night, I had "the Tour of Italy". Plentiful amounts of 3 italian dishes. Chicken Parmigiana, Canneloni and Shrimp with Angel Hair" The atmosphere is very nice. Have a nice selection of "funtinis" for those who like to partake! You'll find this gem about 1 mile north of Depoe Bay on Hwy 101. The sign says it is open nightly 7 days a week.
Also, the place has a quite a selection in terms of pizza.

LOOKING GLASS INN GUEST:
Visited Italian Riviera for the first time at the recommendation from Looking Glass Inn. The service was terrific and the atmosphere/ambiance charming. The food is absolutely the best Italian I have ever had. You can taste the love in every bite. I believe it wholeheartedly when they say that almost everything they serve is made by hand. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to return.
